The only engine offered for the 2010 Ford Focus is the 2.0 liter inline four cylinder that can give 140 horsepower. The standard transmission for these engines is a 5 speed manual, while there is a four speed automatic offered as optional equipment. The engine may be slightly underpowered for the size of the vehicle, only being capable of accelerating from 0-60 mpg in 9.7 seconds. One of the best aspects however is the overall fuel consumption. Most models will receive between 24 mpg city and 35 mpg highway for manual transmission equipped vehicles. Models that have the automatic transmission lose approximate 2 mpg in both city and highway driving.
The 2011 Ford Focus Limited Edition
The Focus RS WRC Edition, which pays tribute to the legendary Escort RS1600 that was launched in 1970, was designed with the help of Swiss fans that participated in a special design competition organized by Ford. You can check out some of the proposals that were submitted by fans after the jump.
